What does the color of period blood tell you?

The color of your period blood can indicate many health problems and abnormalities in your body. Here are some of the colors that women should always be aware of to avoid any abnormalities:

1. Pale red It is caused by having a small amount of menstruation for several days in a row. Some women also experience abdominal pain. The cause is sleeping late and not getting enough rest, which weakens the body and liver. It is best to take care of your health by eating healthy food, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep.

2. Dark black It is caused by blood stasis in the body and poor blood circulation. The cause is drinking cold water or ice, which causes the menstrual blood to be dark and thick. It is best to drink warm water to maintain body temperature.

3. Dark red It is usually caused by the body having a high temperature or being too hot, causing the blood to be dark red. Therefore, you should drink a lot of water to balance the body.

4. Black It is caused by blood that has been stuck in the vagina for too long until thick and then peeled off from the unfertilized uterine lining. When it comes out, it makes the menstrual blood black. This symptom is not considered harmful to health in any way. Therefore, you don’t need to worry at all.

5. Pink It is caused by the body having a low level of estrogen hormone. It mostly occurs in athletes or people who like to exercise too hard. If this symptom occurs too often, it may result in osteoporosis and make the skin look dull.

So, if you notice that your menstrual period has an unusual color or appearance, we recommend consulting a specialist to find a treatment plan.

Frequent drinking and hangovers increase the risk of infertility

Frequent parties and hangovers can directly and indirectly affect your health, especially for those who are already planning to have children. This makes it even more difficult to have children!

Because frequent and large amounts of alcoholic beverages cause the hormones in the body to function abnormally.

What are the effects of drinking alcohol and hangovers?

In men > Abnormal testosterone production results in the body producing less sperm, poor quality sperm, and reduced fertilization ability.

In women > Abnormalities in the pituitary glands hormone system and hormones that control ovarian function result in no ovulation, abnormal uterine lining, and increased chances of premature birth or miscarriage.

It also reduces the absorption of vitamins and minerals, increasing the risk of malnutrition such as magnesium and potassium. It also comes with negative effects from a “hangover” such as insufficient sleep, restless sleep, headaches, dizziness, vomiting, dehydration, fatigue, etc. These are indirect negative effects that affect the body.

Therefore, drinking excessive amounts of liquor, beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverages is a cause of infertility and reduces the chances of having children by up to 50%.

If anyone is planning a pregnancy and still has problems controlling their alcohol consumption, you may need to consider consulting a mental health professional or medical professional to find a treatment plan.
