Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

It is the diagnosis of genetic abnormalities in the embryo caused by abnormalities in the number of chromosomes and/or genes specific to certain diseases before the embryo is transferred into the uterine cavity. The method is to extract some cells from an embryo at the blastocyst stage. By removing only a small portion of the cells that will develop into the placenta in order to detect genetic abnormalities.

The advantage of PGT testing is that it increases the embryo implantation rate. Increase your chances of success in getting pregnant. It also reduces the risk of genetic abnormalities in the baby.
